Assam Rifles felicitates eleven Manipur youth selected for armed forces

Imphal, January 22 2026: Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony at its garrisons in Komlakhong, Imphal District, and Thoubal, Thoubal District, to celebrate the achievement of eleven local youths who have secured selection in CAPF, CISF and SSC (GD).

The event applauded their dedication, discipline and perseverance, marking a proud moment for the communities of Manipur.

As per a release by the IGAR (South), the candidates had undergone structured pre-recruitment training at Assam Rifles locations, where they were guided by a committed team of personnel.

Their preparation included rigorous physical conditioning, coaching for written examinations and tailored guidance on service-specific requirements.

To ensure holistic readiness, the trainees were also provided with nutritional support and structured diet plans.

During the ceremony, the newly selected youths expressed heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for the mentorship, motivation and disciplined environment that shaped their journey.

They credited the professional training atmosphere and personal guidance as decisive factors in their success.

In the current context of Manipur, where opportunities for structured training remain limited, this initiative has offered a meaningful pathway for young people to pursue careers in the armed forces, said the IGAR (South) .
