Thoubal, November 16 2025: A one-day legal awareness programme organised by Khangabok Development Society (KDS) in association with Mangal VLF, Khangabok Part I was held on Saturday at Charu Mandop, Khangabok Khullakpam Leikai.

The awareness programme was conducted under the aegis of District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Thoubal.

The event was attended by Khundrakpam Rajmohon Singh, former Zilla Parishad Member, Khangabok as the chief guest and Ningthoujam Thaba, president Mangal VLF, Khangabok Part I as the functional president.

Khoisnam Jeton Singh, Advocate, Panel lawyer, DLSA presented a speech on "Protection of Women and Domestic Violence Act, 2025" while Ksh Sarankumari Devi, Advocate, Panel Lawyer, DLSA, Thoubal spoke on "Child Marriage & POCSO Act, 2012" .
