Imphal, June 15 2025: As part of the 14th death anniversary observance of advocate Sarungbam Jayanta Singh, a seminar on 'Rule of Law' was held Sunday at Destitute Children Home, Tera bazar.

The seminar organised by Sarungbam Jayanta Law Firm was attended by former district and sessions judge Th Simon, Jayanta's wife Jibanmala Devi and Destitute Children Home administrator Ayekpam Wan-glen as presidium members.

As a resource person of the seminar, Th Simon talked on the existing laws under the Indian Constitution and notable awareness of the people on laws of the land.

Regarding the seminar, Jayanta Law Firm founder Ngangom Jitendra Luwang said Sarungbam Jayanta died due to an illness on June 15, 2011 .

Every year, the law firm organises seminar, awareness programmes at various homes to increase of knowledge of the residents on the Indian legal system and related matters, he said.
