DESAM Kwakta Local Council to host village-level written quiz competition

Imphal, September 12 2025: The Desam Kwakta Local Council has announced that it will organise a Village-Level Written Quiz Competition on October 12, 2025 (Sunday) .

Students residing in Kwakta, Terakhongshangbi, Saiton, Santhong are invited to participate in the event.

According to a release issued by the secretary general of the Council, Ariyan Khang, the competition will be conducted in two categories -Category A (Class V to VIII) and Category B (Class VIII to X) .

The registration fee has been fixed at Rs 100 per form, while students from relief camps will be exempted.

The winners will receive cash prizes of Rs 3,500, Rs 2,500, and Rs 1,500 for the first, second, and third positions respectively, along with a citation and a Lengyan Phee.

As a consolation prize, those securing the 4th to 8th positions will also be awarded Rs 500 each, with a citation and a Lengyan Phee.
