Bishnupur DC graces NHPC raising day celebration

Bishnupur, November 11 2025: Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, congratulated NHPC Limited for completing five decades of commitment to clean energy, sustainability, and national development.

She lauded NHPC's continued contribution to powering the nation through renewable energy initiatives.

DC Pooja Elangbam made the remarks while gracing the 51st NHPC Raising Day celebration as the chief guest at Church Ground, Loktak Project.

As part of the programme, the Deputy Commissioner unfurled the NHPC flag and inaugurated various stalls set up to mark the occasion.

The event was also attended by Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 32 Battalion CRPF; Chandra Shekhar, Commandant 8th Battalion CRPF; Praveen Kumar, DC Malaya Das, 2IC, 10th Battalion BSF; Gursharan Singh, Head of Project, NHPC; Nitish Kumar.

GM (Electrical), NHPC; along with other officers and staff of NHPC.

Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Loktak and staff members of NHPC presented a variety of cultural performances, showcasing the spirit of unity and festivity.
