Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 observed at Maram

Senapati, November 02 2025: Assam Rifles observed the Vigilance Awareness Week, 2025 from October 27 to November 2 at Maram, aligning with the Central Vigilance Commission's theme, "Say No to Corruption - Commit to Integrity" .

The observance commenced with a pledge ceremony attended by officers, JCOs, and other ranks while 12 officers, 44 JCOs, and 780 other ranks registered for the e-pledge on the CVC portal, reaffirming their commitment to integrity.

As part of the weeklong programme, an essay competition on the topic "Corruption-Free India: Our Responsibility" was held on October 28, witnessing participation from Assam Rifles personnel and their families.

This was followed by a quiz competition on October 29 at ARPS Maram, where students took part actively.

A lecture on the importance of vigilance and ethical living was conducted on October 30, attended by officers, other ranks of Assam Rifles, and students from Don Bosco College, Maram.

The highlight of the observance was the Vigilance Awareness Run held on November 1 at Maram Garrison, which drew energetic participation from Assam Rifles personnel, families and students.

The weeklong event concluded with a closing ceremony on November 2, marking the successful culmination of events and reaffirming Assam Rifles' unwavering commitment to upholding integrity and promoting a Corruption-Free India.
