Imphal, September 02 2025: The Arbitral Court of Society for Affordable Redressal of Disputes (SAROD) has passed an order in favour of Neeraj Cement and Structural Limited (NCSL)- Manipur Tribal Development Corporation Limited (MTDCL) .

The order awarded the NCSL-MTDCL investment amount, along with profit and interest for 6.7 years pertaining to construction of 69 bridges along the Tamu Kyigone Kalewa Road section in the Trilateral Highway from 0 to 149.70 Km in Myanmar.

The order was passed by Arbitral Court of Justice Pradeep Nandrajog as presiding arbitrator and Vishwapati Trivedi as Co-Arbitrator.

Notably, the matter was referred to the Arbitral Court following the direction of the Supreme Court.

This marks a major relief for the MTDC in the midst pf financial challenges it is facing, said official sources.
