AR organises 'Sunday on Cycle'

Imphal, July 28 2025: Assam Rifles took another significant stride in advancing health, fitness and community cohesion by organising a spirited cycling event, 'Cycle Campaign: Sunday on Cycle', at Mantripukhri Garrison.

As per a release issued by the IGAR (South), the event held on Sunday was designed to give impetus to the Government of India's 'Fit India Initiative' under the flagship Khelo India programme, with a firm emphasis on the necessity of physical fitness, healthy living and an active lifestyle.

The cyclists pedalled with zest around the garrison and along the adjacent highway, radiating enthusiasm and spreading the message of an active, eco-friendly way of life.
