6-day training program for DDOs of Bishnupur concludes

Bishnupur, August 25 2025: The 6-day condensed training program for Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of Bishnupur on office procedures, forms of written communication, and leadership skills conducted by State Academy of Training, Government of Manipur, concluded today.

The training program which commenced on August 18 was held at the Panchayat Resource Centre, (PRC) Bishnupur.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India sponsored the training program.

Held in two sessions, the 6-day training program covered a wide range of topics including - Maintenance of Government Accounts and Treasury Operations in central and state government; Withdrawal Procedures from Government Accounts by departments/offices; Handling of Government Funds and Budget Preparation; Functions of DDOs/Heads of Offices; Disciplinary rules and service matters;" Record Maintenance (cash books, service books, etc.); Office management, Noting, and Drafting, and forms of Communication and Leadership skills and Delegation: of Financial Power's Rule.

The sessions were led by K Radhakumar Singh, IAS (Retd) and L Iboyaima Singh, Sr AO (Retd), who shared their extensive expertise and experience.

DDOs from all line departments of the district, including Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) and Block Development Officers (BDOs), actively participated in the training.
