RIMS hosts World Health Day Quiz

Imphal, March 25 2026: The Department of Community Medicine, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, successfully conducted a World Health Day Quiz for MBBS students at Banting Hall, RIMS, Imphal today.

The event was held in connection with World Health Day, centered around the theme "Together for Health: Stand with Science", under the aegis of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) .

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from a total of 11 students from MBBS Phase 3 Part 1, forming four distinct teams.

The event was supervised by Dr Shantibala K, Head, Department of Community Medicine, RIMS, Imphal; and graced by Dr G Sunilkumar Sharma, Director RIMS, Imphal; and Prof L Rajesh Singh, Dean (Academics) .

Results

Team B, consisting of Buhmon Dkhar, Bhashasree Saha, and Bidyananda Thoudam, emerged as the winners of the competition.

They were awarded prizes and certificates of participation and will go on to represent RIMS, Imphal, at the upcoming Regional Level Quiz on World Health Day.
