ARPS felicitates meritorious students

Imphal, May 23 2026: A special felicitation programme was organised at Assam Rifles Public School, Mantripukhri, on Saturday to honour students for their academic achievements.

The programme began with a ceremonial welcome of chief guest and Patron Major General Gaurav Sharma, SC, SM, by the students.

He was accompanied by Brigadier KVP Singh Sambyal, Chairman, and Lt Col Rathilash Kumar, School Officer.

During the prize distribution ceremony, meritorious students were felicitated by the chief guest in the presence of Principal Dr Alka Jain, teachers, and students for their outstanding performance.

Addressing the gathering, Major General Sharma noted that the school's Class XII API is the highest among all DGAR schools under ARWES, Shillong, while Class X secured the second highest position.

He lauded the students for achieving 100% first class results in both Class X and XII.

He encouraged students to pursue excellence in all fields and contribute positively to society and the nation.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
