Imphal, July 16 2025: The Directorate of Education (Schools), Government of Manipur, has notified all concerned that scholarships shall be given under the "Merit Scholarship Scheme for Students" of Class X passed students on merit basis in the HSLC Examination forthe year 2025 conducted by BOSEM .

According to a release issued by Ng Bhogendra Meitei, Director of Education (S), scholarship amount of R 6,000 per annum will be given to a total of 300 selected students.

Based on the merit list furnished by BOSEM, the list of eligible students in the respective Merit Scholarship Schemes for class X passed students can be downloaded from "www.manipureducation.gov.in" .

Eligible students for the said Merit Scholarship Scheme and the renewal for Class X & XII (passed in the year 2024) can also apply on National Scholarship Portal (NSP)- "www.scholarships.gov.in", from July 20, 2025 onwards.

The last date for online registration is October 31, 2025 ; Institute Level Verification (level 1) is November 10, 2025 and State Level Verification (level-2) is November 15, 2025 .
