Imphal, March 15 2026: Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur has extended financial assistance to the family of Ningthoujam Pumima (20), who reportedly died by hanging at the verandah of Leimaram High School Relief Camp where she had been residing after being displaced due to the ethnic violence in the State since May 3, 2023.In a statement, LMG said that upon learning about the tragic incident which occurred on March 3, the first day of Yaoshang festival, members of the organisation visited the relief camp and handed over a financial assistance of Rs 7,000 to the victim's mother, Ningthoujam Subhasini.

The visit was led by LMG secretary Ojit Sorokhaibam, accompanied by publicity secretary Rakesh Naorem, treasurer Kunjeshwar Mangsatabam, asst secretary Surendra Ningomba and other key members of the group.
