Senapati Mathematical Olympiad 2025 held

Senapati, August 14 2025: The inaugural Senapati Mathematical Olympiad 2025, organised by Indigi Minds in collaboration with the Senapati Mathematical Society and support of the Manipur Mathematical Society, was conducted on August 13 at Bethany Higher Secondary School and St Anthony's School.

Dr A Azhoni, associate professor and head of Civil Engineering at NIT Manipur, delivered the keynote address.

The event drew over 1,200 students from classes 6 to 12 representing 24 schools across Senapati.

All participants received medals and certificates, while top performers in each category were awarded cash prizes and mementoes.

In the Class VI category, Ringthra Khular Lamkang (St Anthony's School) secured first place, followed by Caleb Shilshi Lamkang (Mave School) in second and Kathi-prii (St Anthony's School) in third.

For Class VII, Vawidu Benedict (St Anthony) claimed the top position, with Francis Tsiivei (Don Bosco) and Tianlan (St Anthony) taking second and third, respectively.

The Class VIII winners were Siivei Shuru (St Anthony) in first place, Dewash (Don Bosco) in second, and D Tsiivei Wisdom (St Anthony) in third.

In Class IX, the top three positions were respectively wrested by St Anthony's Angel Bituila, Rahaa Sophie and Liivakho Pukhomai.

The Class X category was led by Liveine Susan (Don Bosco), followed by J Siichiveio (Mount Everest Hr Sec School) and Sazholou Joyful Pou (Avant Garde Academy).

For Class XI, Roshni Gupta (Mount Zion Hr Sec School) took first place, with Thotsem Zimik Vashai (Hills Academy of Science) and Wonchui Rainam (Mount Everest Hr Sec School) finishing second and third.

In Class XII, Dahriine Yonah (Don Bosco) topped the category, ahead of O Sethpoulou (Mount Zion) and Wipisanliu Newmai (Don Bosco) .
