'Luchingpurel Irabot Ningsing Thouram' to be observed at Wangjing on Sep 21

Thoubal, September 12 2025: The Khorilol Sandok-Lup, Wangjing in collaboration with Ningol Khut Manipur, Wangjing, will organised "Luchingpurel Irabot Ningshing Thouram" on September 21, 2025, at Khorilol Sanglen, Wangjing.

As part of the observance, a public deliberation on the life and contributions of Hijam Irabot will be held.

Ethil Newspaper editor Bhorot Sanasam will spoke on "Pungdongbam Thoudok amasung Manipur gi Apunbagi Saktam", while Sengoi Sanasam, Assistant Professor of Waikhom Manipur Girls' College will delivered a talk on "Irabot amasung Ngasi gi Manipur" .

The later session of the event will feature poetry readings dedicated to Irabot and a patriotic-themed poetry recitation competition, moderated by Saikhom Chaoba.

The organisers have appealed to the public to attend and take part in honouring the legacy of Hijam Irabot.
