CRPF distributes solar lights, tin sheets to villagers of K Ponlen under CAP

Imphal, January 11 2026:
As part of its ongoing Civic Action Programme (CAP), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Friday distributed solar lights and tin sheets to residents of K Ponlen village at K Ponlen High School, Kangchup Police Station, Kangpokpi district.
The programme was organised under the aegis of CRPF Manipur and Nagaland Sector, Imphal, with the participation of D/30 and F/30 companies of Dett/30 Battalion CRPF, S Saheibung.
The initiative aimed at strengthening cordial relations between the CRPF and the local population while extending support to the needy.
During the event, essential items including solar lights and tin sheets were distributed among villagers to assist them in meeting basic requirements and to promote community welfare.
The programme was inaugurated by Sandeep Kumar Neeraj, 2-I/C (Dett/Commander) 30 Bn CRPF, in the presence of Mahendra Singh, 2-I/C; Ravi Chettri, Asst Commandant; Ashok Kumar Panigrahi, Asst Commandant; and Jai Prakash, Assistant Commandant of 30 Bn.
The chief of KAPDC, Sasat Kipgen, along with Village Authority Paochon Singsit also graced the occasion.
Villagers expressed immense happiness and gratitude for the initiative, lauding the thoughtful gesture and requesting that such welfare activities be continued in the future.
