Indian Army rescues accident victims at Selmol village

Chandel, May 09 2026:
The Indian Army successfully rescued four civilians who met with an accident at Sernol Village when the tractor carrying them toppled down a ridge.
According to a press note, the incident occurred yesterday evening and resulted in a medical emergency.
During the incident, the four civilians sustained injuries, including one child with severe head injury, while the remaining individuals suffered comparatively minor injuries.
In an extraordinary display of service, within the ambit of Red Shield Division, the Medical Officer of Indian Army swiftly responded to the crisis, ensuring immediate medical assistance and stabilization of two civilians at the site of the accident.
Additionally, two injured persons were administered emergency life-saving treatment and subsequently referred to Saikul for advanced medical care, said the press release.
