Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs kicks off

Imphal, September 08 2025: An Annual Zonal Workshop of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) began today at the College of Agriculture (CoA), Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal on the theme, "Technology-Empowerment-Convergence : Transforming NEH Agriculture towards Viksit Bharat @2047".The three day workshop is organised by the ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI), Zone VII, Umiam in association with Central Agricultural University, Imphal.

The inaugural function was graced by dignitaries, including Th Chaoba, former Union Minister, Government of India; Dr Anupam Mishram, Vice Chancellor, CAU, Imphal; Dr BC Deka, Vice Chancellor, AAU Jorhat; Prof N Brajendra, Dean, CoA, CAU, Imphal; and former Union Minister Th Chaoba and Dr A K Mohanty, Director, ICAR-ATARI Zone VII.

The first day of the workshop was marked by the inauguration of exhibition stalls and releasing of publications of different KVKs .
