EDP for shortlisted beneficiaries of CMESS begins

A six-day Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) for shortlisted beneficiaries of Chief Minister's Entrepreneurship Support Scheme (CMESS) was kicked off today at the training hall of MSME Technology Centre, Nilakuthi Food Park as part of the Planning Department's Startup Manipur 2.0.The EDP will continue till November 10 with the participating 75 shortlisted beneficiaries.
Kicking off the programme, chief guest Dr RK Radhesana, Director, Planning Department, urged the beneficiaries to absorb the information shared by experts during the EDP to become successful entrepreneurs and take advantage of the benefits and support system under CMESS.
Meanwhile, Dr Sinam Yoirentomba, Deputy Director, MSME Technology Centre urged the beneficiaries to interact with the bank officials at the EDP to educate themselves about the benefits and funds available to make their endeavours a success.
Other notable dignitaries present at the event include Dr RK Tombisana, Joint Director, Planning Department; H Homendro, Research Officer, Planning Department and Kh Dilip, retd Joint Director, Directorate of Trade, Commerce and Industry, among others.
