Free Medical Camp held

As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen relations with local communities and extend humanitarian assistance, 158 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Free Medical Camp at Khonsakhul village today.
As per a release issued by CRPF, the camp was inaugurated by Sanjay Negi, Commandant, 158 Battalion CRPF, and witnessed an enthusiastic response from the local population.
Dr Karthika Balan, Medical officers and paramedical staff of 158 Battalion provided free consultations, distributed essential medicines, and conducted health awareness sessions on hygiene, sanitation, and preventive healthcare.
More than 70 local residents, including women, children, and elderly persons, benefited from the initiative.
Special attention was given to common ailments, maternal and child health issues, and seasonal diseases prevalent in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Negi emphasized that the CRPF not only plays a vital role in maintaining peace and security but also remains committed to the welfare and development of local communities.
He reiterated the Force's dedication to its motto "Service and Loyalty" .
