World Hepatitis Day observed in Kakching

Kakching, September 01 2025: World Hepatitis Day, 2025 was held today under the theme "Let's break it down" at Langmeidong Mayai Leikai Community Hall in Kakching District.

The programme was organised by the District Health Society, Kakching in association with Lamjao Part 1 Development Association under the supervision of the District Administration Kakching.

The programme was graced by Urikhinbam Narajit Luwang as chief guest; Dr Thaodem Rajen Singh, Chief Medical Officer/DMD DHS Kakching as president and Dr Takhellambam Jullon Singh, MO i/c CHC Kakching as guest of honour.

As part of the programme, an awareness on viral Hepatitis was held and screening of Hepatitis B and C were done for around 80 individuals.
