8 cadres from other outfits join ZUF

Imphal, August 25 2025: At least eight cadres of different factions of NSCN have joined Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF), claimed ZUF today.

A press release issued by ZUF claimed that the Tatar PG Meithailung of NSCN (R), Rajou-Peyu Nelson Daimei of NSCN (R), 2nd lieutenant Sajangam Kamei of NSCN (R), captain Kunglianglung Kamei of NSCN (K), captain Pouthailung Gonmei of NSCN (K), corporal Barimshaba Bariamtak of NSCN (IM), corporal Jangsinlung of NSCN (IM) and private Kariugan Kamei of NSCN (IM) have joined them.

Welcoming its new cadres, the Front said that their decision signifies not only personal courage but also a profound commitment to truth, justice and the enduring cause of the Zeliangrong people and kindred community.

The steady influx of cadres of various groups into the ZUF stands as a testament to the triumph of unity over division and the strength of principle over uncertainty, it said.

"Each comrade who joins reinforces our moral resolve, consolidates our fraternity and reaffirms that the struggle of the Zeliangrong political aspiration is advancing with renewed confidence and clarity of purpose," he said.

The Front also said that their doors remain open to anyone who aspires to uphold the destiny of the Zeliangrong political aspiration and contribute to safeguarding their land, people, culture and identity.
