Imphal, February 22 2025: A media workshop on "Media as force multiplier for climate action" was held at Classic Grande at Chingmeirong today.

The workshop jointly organised by Editors' Guild Manipur (EGM) in collaboration with the Directorate of Environment and Climate Change was graced by Principal Secretary of Forest and Environment and Climate Change Arun Kumar Sinha as chief guest, EGM president Khogendra Khomdram as functional president and Director of Environment and Climate Change T Brajakumar and All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) president Bijoy Kakchingtabam as guests of honour.

The workshop was moderated by advisor to EGM A Mobi.

The technical session was deliberated by retired Prof E Bijoykumar of Manipur University's Economics Department on "Impact of climate change on economy; senior journalist and Editor of Imphal Review of Arts and Politics Pradip Phanjoubam on media and climate change and Dr T Brajakumar on State climate policy.
