Imphal, September 02 2024:
"We will wait for completion of the 100 days' period set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resolve the Manipur crisis", said BJP MLA Kh Joykisan even after Kuki-Zo militants have started bombing several Meitei villages using drones since yesterday.
The MLA visited Impact TV Reporter Elangbam Mushuk at Shija Hospital today where Mushuk has been undergoing treatment after he sustained splinter injuries in aerial bombing by Kuki-Zo terrorists at Koutruk on Sunday.
Joykisan also extended financial assistance to the injured journalist.
Speaking to media persons, Joykisan said the aerial bombing from drones was carried out by those people who don't want peace to return in Manipur.

Bombing from drones is usually done in international wars, not in internal conflicts.
But aerial bombing from drones are being carried out in Manipur with the sinister intention to exterminate all the people.
These people are anti-India, Joykisan said.
"As a BJP MLA, I would submit a list of suggestions to the State Government in black and white with regard to the Kuki militants' new warfare of bombing civilians from drones", he said.
Those people who have been carrying out aerial bombings have an intention to break apart not just Manipur but India, he said.
The Indian Army must not remain silent to the aerial bombings, added the MLA.
Questioning what advice Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh has been giving to the DGP since he came to Manipur, the BJP MLA remarked that the Security Advisor has done nothing to control the Manipur violence.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Manipur crisis would be resolved within 100 days and this period is going to be complete soon.
We will wait till the completion of this period", Joykisan said and added that he has faith in the Prime Minister's assurance.
He also exuded confidence that the Chief Minister and the BJP Manipur Pradesh president will soon take a decision to save the Nation.
It is time for all BJP workers and sympathisers to launch a strong movement in order to save India and Manipur, the BJP MLA said.
He claimed that the Kuki militants' offensive can be checked by deploying 2000 security personnel each at those places which are being repeatedly attacked.
He also urged the Government to take up effective measures to protect the Nation and the people.
"It's not the time for all of us including the Chief Minister, Ministers and MLAs to remain silent.
We must follow BJP's ideology of 'Nation first' and work collectively to save our State," Joykisan said.
He also condemned publication of half-cooked or unverified stories about the Manipur crisis by some National media.
