Kumbi Sandhong UPS celebrates diamond jubilee

Bishnupur, March 28 2026: Marking a significant milestone, Kumbi Sandhong Upper Primary School observed its 75th anniversary or diamond jubilee celebration at the premises of the school today.

The celebration was jointly organised by the SMC, PM SHRI Kumbi Sandhong Upper Primary School and alumni of the school.

The ceremony was kicked off with the offering of floral tributes before the photos of late teachers of the school.

Notable dignitaries present at the gathering include S Brojen, Deputy Inspector of Schools of Moirang, ZEO, Zone IV Bishnupur; social workers Bobbyjames Wahengbam, Moirangthem Meghachandra and Wangkhem Sobha and Kh Gyanibhushan, retd Vice Principal, Kumbi College.

At the event, simple gifts were presented to winners of the Annual Sports Meet, toppers of academic session 2025-26 and other exemplary students and alumni of the school.

Head Master and National Teacher Awardee Khangembam Indrakumar was also present on the occasion.
