Infantry Day observed at Tronglaobi

Bishnupur, October 27 2025: The Indian Army observed Infantry Day with great enthusiasm at Tronglaobi North COB inTronglaobi, Bishnupur District today.

According to a release issued by the Indian Army, the event witnessed active participation from students of L Dhananjay Memorial English School, Tronglaobi.

A total of 30 students from the school along with School Secretary, Thumama Oken Singh and school teachers, Nganthoibi Chanu and Kalpana Devi, took part in the celebration.

The programme began with an introductory speech highlighting the significance of Infantry Day, followed by motivational videos showcasing the valour and service of the Indian Army.

A lecture by the RMO on CPR and First Aid was also conducted, enhancing students' awareness of emergency medical practices.

A quiz competition on general awareness added to the day's learning spirit, while a flag-hoisting ceremony and a friendly Tug of War event further enlivened the celebration.

The event culminated with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners and runners-up of the quiz competition were felicitated, followed by gifts being presented to the School Management and students of the institute.
