Imphal, May 23 2026: The 22nd Foundation Day of United Mongoloid was observed on Saturday at the conference hall of Khongnangthaba University, Khurai Konsam Leikai.

Vice Chancellor of Khongnangthaba University Prof Naorem Joykumar, United Mongoloid president Lanbon Kabui, retired Principal of DM College of Commerce Dr Okram Kumar, Federation of Haomee president Sapamcha Jadumani, and former Manipur Human Rights Commission Member Ng Nongyai were among the dignitaries who attended the function.

Speaking at the event, Lanbon Kabui said United Mongoloid was established as part of the global effort to strengthen the Mongoloid community.

He added that the organisation has been playing a major role in working for the welfare and upliftment of Mongoloids in the Northeast region.

The programme marked two decades of the organisation's initiatives towards unity and development of the Mongoloid people.
