Imphal, March 23 2026: A six-day Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme (ESDP), jointly organised by the Manipur Institute of Open Schooling (MIOS) and NIT, Manipur, concluded on Saturday.

The valedictory function, held at the Chingkhei Vocational Training Centre in Phaknung Mayai Leikai, was attended by dignitaries, including Lamlai AC MLA, Kh Ibomcha; NIT Manipur Registrar, Prof Khumukcham Tomba; and MIOS Director, Salam Nabachandra.

During the event, Kh Ibomcha highlighted the various schemes initiated by the Prime Minister to support the poor and help them become financially self-reliant.

He noted that a lack of awareness and enthusiasm often prevents people from fully utilizing these schemes.

The MLA encouraged participants to work diligently, assuring them that banks and departments would eventually offer support to those who show persistent effort.
