Imphal, February 23 2026: A significant literary event took place today in Imphal with the official release of the book "Phijigi Lan", written by Haobam Chitra Devi.

The function, held at the State Central Library Auditorium Hall, was organised by the Rozer Irom Memorial Trust in collaboration with Writers' Platform Manipur (Writplat) .

The event was graced by dignitaries, ' including Prof Loitongbam Birjita Devi, Head, Manipuri Department, Manipur University; Dr Kshetrimayum Subadani, president, Mahila Kavya Manch, Manipur; RK Nayansana Devi, former Chairperson, Manipur State Social Welfare Advisory Board; Yumnam Kumar Singh, president, Writplat; and Laishram Memo Singh.

The function was well-attended by book lovers, writers, and members of the community, marking a successful launch for the new publication.
