Thangjing Art & Cultural Academy celebrates 20th foundation day

Moirang, May 22 2026: The Thangjing Art & Cultural Academy celebrated its 20th foundation day on Friday at Moirang Phiwangbam Leikai Mandop.

The programme was attended by Martial Arts coach of SAI, Laishram Rajen Singh as the chief guest.

President of the academy, Ahanthem Rajmohon Singh, presided over the function as functional president.

Director-cum-founder of the Temple of Art and Culture Centre, Akoijam Sobhachandra Singh, and Secretary of the academy, Mairembam Prome Devi, attended the event as guests of honour.

The celebration began with floral tributes being paid to the painted portraits of the founding members of the academy.

Artists of the academy also presented Thougal Jagoi and various traditional dance performances, enthralling the gathering and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
