Imphal, January 22 2026: SOREPA Kangleipak has refuted any connection with the four individuals including a woman who were arrested by police from different places on January 14, 2026 on the charge of being its members.

The four individuals namely; Keithellakpam Telheiba alias Mangang alias Thoiba alias Lamyanba (23) of Kangabam Leikai, Imphal West, Konthoujam Gooddy Meitei alias Phireppa (23) of Joypur Khunou, Bishnupur district, Laishram Ichan Devi alias Sangita (30) of Wabagai Terpishak, Kakching district and Shamulailakpam Arbin Sharma alias Phirepa of Uripok Achom Leikai, have no connection with SOREPA in any manner, said a press issued by the outfit's Secretary, Publicity and Organisation MC Yaiphabi.
