CRPF wraps up mason training programme

The 86 Battalion CRPF has successfully conducted a 20-Day Mason Training Programme at the battalion headquarters at Lamphelpat, Imphal.
As per a release issued by CRPF, the training programme, running from December 1 to 20, 2025, was conducted as part of the CRPF's ongoing Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025-26 .
The closing function was graced by dignitaries, including H Premjit Meetei, DIGP, Range Imphal, CRPF; Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF; and Kiyam Rajiv Singh, Deputy Commandant, 86 Bn CRPF .
The event was also attended by Kamei Aguichung, Chairman; Pantiphun Panmei, Vice Chairman; Keising Kamei, Village Administrative Chief; Agundai Kamei, Treasurer of Tarung Village Authority and trainees from Tarung village.
Speaking on the occasion, H Premjit Meetei expressed his gratitude to the villagers.
He highlighted that the Mason Training Programme was conducted with the aim to equip unemployed youth with practical masonry skills to enhance livelihood opportunities and promote economic empowerment.
He emphasized that the CRPF remains committed to strengthening trust, understanding, and mutual respect with local communities, while supporting local needs and fostering goodwill in the region.
The DIGP also distributed masonry-related equipment, machinery items and certificates to the trainees of Tarung village.
The Village Authority and residents of Tarung village appreciated the CRPF for the noble initiative.
They expressed hope that similar welfare-oriented activities will continue in the future.
The programme was conducted under the aegis of the IG M&N Sector, CRPF .
