JAA candidates demand early conduct of computer typing test

Imphal, July 19 2026: Candidates for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant (JAA) under the Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts, Government of Manipur, have urged the authorities to conduct the pending computer practical typing test at the earliest.

Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club, a candidate said the written examination for the recruitment was held on January 31, 2021, and results declaring 300 qualified candidates were published on October 16, 2024.Although a notice was earlier issued for the computer practical typing test, it was postponed and no new date has been announced till date.

The candidates stated that the prolonged delay is causing various hardships to aspirants.

They appealed to the Government to conduct the examination within a short period to complete the recruitment process.
