FESOK organises one-day drug awareness campaign at Kakching Khunou College

The Federal Student's Organisation, Kangleipak(FESOK), Kakching District Council organised a one-day drug awareness campaign at Kakching Khunou College on Wednesday.
According to a release issued by the FESOK, the campaign was held under the theme "Mayai Kaba Nishana Sokhallaba Khunai Asida Maheiroising gee Thoudang" (Youth's Role in Fighting Drug Menace) .
The event was attended by O Binoy Singh, principal Kakching Khunou College; M Rajendro Singh, advisor Haksel Kanglon; Ksh Biren, Asst Prof History Department, Kakching Khunou College; Yengkhom Vidyadhar, counsellor Healing Point Kakching and Surjit Sarangthem, president FESOK Kakching District Council as presidium members.
The event witnessed participation from over 300 students and faculty members of the college.
In his address, Surjit Sarangthem, president of FESOK Kakching District Council, reiterated the organisation's commitment to continue its effort to root out drug abuse from society.
He noted that FESOK has been organising such awareness programmes regularly to build a healthier, drug-free society.
