Imphal, February 14 2026:
A 1-Day Free Medical Camp, organised as part of ongoing community outreach initiatives, successfully provided essential healthcare services to 205 patients in the Kshetri Bengoon Awang Leikai area.
The camp was a collaborative effort between BABINA Hospital, the Youth Progressive Organisation (YPO), and VLF Kshetri Bengoon Awang Leikai.
The primary objective was to bring accessible healthcare closer to the community, facilitate early detection of common health conditions, promote preventive healthcare, and reduce the financial burden on local residents.
Services offered included free consultations in ENT (Dr Yumlembam Sandhyalata), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Dr Naorem Vandana) and.
General Medicine (Dr Kangjam Lakshmi).
Additionally, free medicines were distributed to beneficiaries, and a 10 percent concession on necessary diagnostic investigations was extended to patients requiring further evaluation at the hospital.
