SfF announces results of "Yarou Sangai 2025" Competition

Imphal, November 11 2025: The Sangai First Foundation (SfF), Manipur, has declared the results of the "Yarou Sangai 2025" competition held on November 9, 2025, at Bishnupur Higher Secondary School.

According to SfF, the competition was organised as a pre-event of the upcoming 2nd Sangai Day 2025, with the objective of inspiring awareness, creativity, and a sense of responsibility among students toward conserving the Sangai, the pride of Manipur.

A total of 93 students participated across the categories - As You Like (Poem/Essay), Written Quiz, and Painting Competition - all based on the common theme "Our Sangai" .

In the results announced, Laiphrakpam Urmila Chanu (Class X) of Sanatombi Oriental English School, Kumbi secured the first position.

Thoi Tongbram (Class IX) of Paradise Gardening School, Chandpur and Bikrama Lourembam (Class IX) of Comprehensive School, Oinam, won the second position, while the third position went to Haobijam Anamika Chanu (Class X) of Ningthoukhong Higher Sec School and Keisham Lanchenba (Class X) of Bethel English School, Nambol.

The winners will be felicitated during the 2nd Sangai Day scheduled to be held on December 10, 2025 .
