Imphal, October 10 2025: Safai Karmachari Sangh Manipur (SKSM) has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Labour Commissioner Tanushree Naorem for facilitating the service extension of 77 Safai Karmacharis (sanitary workers) of Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC).

As per a release issued by SKSM, the IMC extended the service of 77 sanitary workers following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the IMC, Manipur Housing & Urban Development (MAHUD) and All Manipur Trade Unions Council (AMTUC) during a proceeding initiated by Conciliation Officer Tanushree Naorem.

SKSM also conveyed its appreciation to Moirangthem Bheigyachandra Singh, former Labour Inspector; AMTUC assistant secretary Md Parvez Rahman Shah, staff of Labour Department and the officials of MAHUD for their support & cooperation.
