Interface Meeting conducted

Imphal, January 08 2026: An interface meeting on "Promotion of Integrated Farming System" was successfully conducted today at Hotel Imphal.

The meeting was organised by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Manipur, with the objective of strengthening convergence, knowledge exchange, and sustainable farming practices fix enhancing farmers income the State.

The meeting was graced by Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Additional Chief Secretary (Agriculture), Government of Manipur and Dr Anupam Mishra, Vice Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal as the chief guest & president respectively.

Commissioners and Secretaries of the Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Minor Irrigation, Command Area Development Authority(CADA), Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Fishery of the Government of Manipur also attended the meeting as guests of honour.

The programme also witnessed the enthusiastic participation of officers from the Agriculture Department, Government of Manipur and experts from CAU, ICAR, Regional Centre, Manipur and KVKs.

Sharing of success stories, experience sharing by Departments and presentation of District Specific Strategy to promote Integrated Farming System by District Agriculture Officers were the main highlights of the meet.
