DPUVO Nambol celebrates 30th foundation day

Moirang, September 03 2025: The Development & Protection, United Voluntary Organisation (DPUVO), Nambol, celebrated its 30th foundation day at the Public Hall of Nambol Keithel with a solemn yet vibrant programme that highlighted three decades of social service and community development.

The event began with floral tributes and a minute's silence in.

memory of late members of the organisation.

It was attended by DPUVO Nambol, president Taorem Khaba; and DPUVO advisors Retd Addl Director Agriculture Department, Govt of Manipur, Y Nabakishore Singh; ex-chairperson Nambol Municipal Council Tekcham Ibochou Singh; Retd Principal Nambol L Sanoi College, Mongjam Ibohal; chairman.

Technical Committee Manipur Wetland Authority, Govt of Manipur Dr KH Shamungou, who graced the occasion as presidium members.

Leaders of various CSOs of Manipur, Meira Paibis; and members of DPUVO also attended the programme, deflecting the organisation's deep-rooted connection with the community.

As part of the event, founding members, philanthropists, donors, public leaders, and social activists were honoured with traditional Lengyan Phee in recognition of their contributions to the organisation's journey.

A commemorative souvenir documenting welfare activities and achievements of DPUVO over the past three decades was also released during the programme.
