Free medical check-up camp conducted at Moirang College

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Moirang College, in collaboration with JR Hospital and Research Institute, Hatta, Imphal East, successfully organised a voluntary medical check-up for students on Thursday at the college premises in Moirang, Bishnupur district.
According to a release issued by Moirang College, the programme witnessed the participation of a large number of students who underwent health screening as part of the initiative.
In addition to students, free medical check-ups were also extended to teaching and non-teaching staff by a team of experienced doctors from JR Hospital and Research Institute.
The initiative was carried out in line with the resolutions of the 9th Apex Level NCORD meeting chaired by the Union Home Minister, as well as directives issued by the Directorate of University and Higher Education, Government of Manipur regarding the submission of an "Action Taken Report" on the matter of Educational Institutions - 500 meter Drug Free Zone'.
Approximately 350 students benefited from the camp.
The medical team comprised 12 doctors, 20 nurses, and around 30 students from the JR Institute of Paramedical Science, Hatta, who provided support during the programme.
