Power supply to be affected

Imphal, January 29 2026:
The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed all concerned that the 33 kV Kongba-Sangaipat High Tension Line will remain under shutdown on January 31, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm for rectification and re-alignment of a tilted double-pole structure at Standard College Campus, Kongba, along with jungle clearance work along the line corridor.
During the period, power supply to consumers of 33/11 kV Sangaipat Sub-Station and 33/11 kV JNIMS SubStation will be affected.
Also, the 33 kV Khuman-Keishampat High Tension Line via Kangla will be under shutdown on February 1, 2026, from 11 am to 2 pm for routine maintenance works.
During the period, power supply to consumers of 33/11 kV Kangla Sub-Station and 33/11 kV Keishampat SubStation will be affected.
Expressing regret over the inconvenience caused to the public, the MSPCL stated that the shutdowns are being undertaken in the interest of system reliability, public safety, and maintenance of prescribed electrical clearances.
