Results of poem recitation competition declared

Imphal, August 27 2025: Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA), Kangleipak has declared the results for the State Level Poem Recitation Competition held on August 20 last.

As per a release issued by WAMA, the competition was conducted as part of the 34th Manipuri Language Day celebration on the theme, "Kaorure Eikhoina Mahousa Lairembibu".

Winners of the competition in the order of merit are - Ningthoujam Saratchandra (Singjamei Chingamakha), Moirangthem Netrajit (Sagolband Sadokpam Leikai) and Moirangthem Achouba Meetei (Uyumpok Makha Leikai).

Winners of consolation prize are- Hasan Sana MM (Lilong), Rameshwor Thounaojam (Sagolband Lamabam Leikai), Lairikyengbam Bimola (New Checkon), M Budha (Singjamei Chingamakha Meisnam Leikai), Nongthombam Chandramala (Kontha Khabam), Laishram Modhumangol (Porompat Thawanthaba Leikai), Lourembam Amar (Ethai Laikhong Mayai Leikai), Yengkhom Bijaya (Kakching), Khuman Yaima Meitei (Salungpham), Laishram Mangal (Sagolband), Pramodini Ahongsangbam (Sagolband Khamnam Leikai) and Wangkheirakpam Birendrajit (Nongmeibung).

The awards will be presented during the 5th Foundation Day celebration of WAMA scheduled to be held at Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board on September 25 .
