RIMS bags 1st prize in IAPSM's World TB Day video competition

Imphal, March 24 2026: RIMS, Imphal has secured the 1st position in the National-Level Short Video Competition on World TB Day 2026 organised by the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine (IAPSM) .

A team of interns posted at Department of Community Medicine, RIMS, led by Dr Sarandip Das, under the supervision of Dr Shantibala K, Prof & Head, Community Medicine Department, RIMS, Intern, Imphal bagged the first prize, earning a cash prize of 25,000 out of 98 entries from MBBS students across 24 States, said a press release.

Following closely in second (Rs 15000) and third (Rs 10000) place were the team from MGM Medical College and Hospital, Maharashtra and the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune.
