Two-day Jiribam Book Fair concludes

Jiribam, May 22 2026: The two-day Jiribam Book Fair 2026, organised by the District Administration, Jiribam at Ima Keithel, Babupara, concluded on Friday with enthusiastic participation from students and book lovers across the district.

Deputy Commissioner of Jiribam, Krishna Kumar, attended the closing function as the chief guest.

During the two-day event, several literary and educational activities including painting competition, poetry recitation, storytelling competition, debate competition, literary interaction programme and career guidance sessions were organised.

The winners of the various competitions were felicitated by the chief guest during the closing ceremony.

Organisers also presented gifts and tokens of appreciation to participants who had opened book stalls at the fair.

Students from different parts of the district actively participated in the programmes.
