North East Integration Rally 2026 reaches Imphal

Imphal, January 20 2026: Under the theme of "Peace, Progress, Prosperity", the North East Integration Rally 2026, which seeks to connect and unite the different communities of the region, reached Imphal today.

The non-competitive car and motorcycle rally is designed to showcase the beauty, diversity, and untold stories of North East India.

Organised by the KRC Foundation, the rally was officially flagged off from Kolkata, West Bengal on January 4, 2026.Around 9 am today, the rally set off for Imphal from Sekmai.

After reaching Imphal, the team headed towards the Peace Museum at Maibam Lotpa Ching in Bishnupur district.

They were accorded a warm welcome here.

Following this, the group headed back to Imphal at GM Hall where the main event was held, featuring a showcase of traditional and cultural items.

Speaking in this connection, Bishwadeep Gupta, Managing Trustee, KRC Foundation, said that the rally was organised with the goal of uniting over 200 communities who have made the North East their home.

The team will head for Jiribam tomorrow.

They will reach Guwahati, Assam on February 8, 2026, where the rally will officially conclude.
