Moirang, July 18 2025: In a concerted effort to preserve and promote the traditional art and culture of Manipur among younger generations, a cultural awareness programme was organised at Konjeng Junior High School, Moirang Patlou Leikai.

The event was organised by Shri Shri Govindaji Thoubal Holi Dol under the initiative of the Guru Shishya Parampara, Ministry of Culture.

The programme was attended by Konjeng Junior High School, headmistress Moirangthem Shyama Devi, Asst teacher Laiphrakpam Shilabati Devi and Shri Shri Govindaji Thoubal Nupi Holi Dol, members RK Yaimabi Devi, Waikhom Maipakpi, Pukhrem Bidhu Devi and Kumam Binarani Devi as presidium members.

During the event, speakers provided in-depth insights into the ancient art and cultural traditions of Manipur.

The event concluded with a captivating demonstration of Holi Sankirtana, presented by the artists of Shri Shri Govindaji Holi Dol.
