Imphal, May 18 2025: The Athoubasingee Ningsing Numit was observed today at Khudengthabi Chingdol, Nongpok Sanjenbam in Imphal.

Organized by the Observation Committee of Athoubasingee Ningsing Numit, the programme honoured the legacy of those who fought to safeguard the sovereignty of Manipur, with attendees offering floral tributes and observing a two-minute silence in their honour.

Speaking at the event, Maibam Ningthempishak, chairman of the Observation Committee, said that they observed the day in a low-key manner this year.

Saying that they plan to hold the Athoubasingee Ningsing Numit in a grand manner at the same venue next year, she added that they plan to build a memorial honoring the patriots while expressing gratitude to everyone who attended today's programme.
