Thoubal, July 17 2025: Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) registration drive was conducted on Wednesday atthe Hall of ICDS Thoubal.

The program was organised by the District Programme officer (ICDS Cell Thoubal District) as part of a nationwide initiative to enhance maternal and child health.

The drive aimed to increase awareness and ensure that eligible pregnant and lactating women are enrolled under the scheme to receive financial assistance.

During the registration drive, Supervisors, Anganwadi Workers, Helpers were actively engaged with the eligible beneficiaries and organized information sessions to facilitate easy registration.

The drive witnessed large number participation and significantly boosted the number of beneficiaries registered under PMMVY, ensuring improved maternal care and support for women across the district.

Such drives will continue till July 30, 2025 in different parts of the district.
