Financial inclusion camp conducted

Imphal, August 14 2025:
As part of its ongoing three-month financial inclusion saturation campaign, Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB), Deulahland branch conducted a financial inclusion camp at Arapti Mamang Leikai community hall in Imphal East district on Thursday.
The camp was attended by PSB, Guwahati zonal office deputy zonal manager Moirangthem Kenedi Singh, Dew-lahland branch senior manager in-charge Longjam Bishwash Meitei, EOP Sebastian, Keirao CD block PA Chand, Manipur Rural Bank, Porompat branch manager Rajkumar Sapam and members of Kiyamgei Muslim Arapti Gram Panchayat.
Around 170 locals attended the camp.
The campaign being held since July 1 aims to achieve comprehensive coverage across all gram panchayats and urban local bodies, ensuring that every eligible citizen avails benefits of the government's transformative schemes.
Aligning with the initiative, the Arapti camp was conducted in collaboration with banking institutions, government agencies, and the local community to promote financial literacy, inclusion, and empowerment.
During the camp, the participants were made aware on opening accounts under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), re-KYC of all SB accounts, digital fraud prevention and unclaimed deposits along with facilities provided by banks.
