Imphal, September 13 2026: Former Minister AK Mirabai today inspected five water supply schemes in Patsoi that remain incomplete despite their foundation stones having been laid in 2015-16 .

The schemes inspected included the construction of a water supply scheme at Tabungkhok Makha Leikai, augmentation of the Changangei Water Supply Scheme, augmentation of the Patsoi Part-II Water Supply Scheme, construction of a water supply scheme at Patsoi Part-II, augmentation of the Tabungkhok Water Supply Scheme and augmentation of the Patsoi Part-II Water Supply Scheme.

The projects were taken up with funding from the New Development Bank.

Speaking to the media, Mirabai expressed dissatisfaction with the BJP Government for failing to complete the projects despite the tendering process having been completed in 2015-16 .

She was accompanied by engineers of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) .

Mirabai urged PHED officials to expedite and complete the projects so that piped water supply could be provided to the people of Patsoi.
